Yerba mansa
Yerba mansa is a member of the Saururaceae family, commonly known as the Lizards-Tail family. Yerba mansa can be used as a tea or tincture (extract), dried in capsules or as a homeopathic preparation.
Native to the southwestern United States, this plant is used as an antiseptic, both internally and topically.
Yerba mansa attends to the details and balances of good relationship. It heals mucous membranes, eases colitis and stomach ulcers and is healing to sinus infections, gum inflammations, and cystitis.
As a tea, this New Mexican herbal remedy is used for stomach disorders and as a gargle. It is also used in liniments for arthritis and rheumatism since it is anti-inflammatory, and in powdered form for hemorrhoids and abrasions.
Use yerba mansa in infusion or tincture doses of 20-60 drops up to 5 times a day.
