Rose geranium tea

Rose geranium (Pelargonium graveolens)  leaves and flowers are anti-depressant, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, diuretic, fungicidal and deodorant.

Rose geranium is the perfect embellishment for fresh fruit salad, and it also makes a favorable sore throat gargle.

A cup of rose-scented geranium tea made with a quarter of a cup of fresh leaves, and flowers , steeped in a cup of boiling water for 5 minutes, then strained and sipped slowly, will calm and relax the person who drank it. Rose geranium can also be used to make a calming, sleep-inducing tea.

The tea is delicate, slightly spice rose flavor. It can be served hot or iced. Mint leaves make a nice addition.

Other than tea, rose geranium also good for making sherbets and cakes.
